Selectively Import Data into a Table

I want to selectively import data into a table based on the content of a row in another table.

In my application I have a web based transaction file that contains data for a number of branches in the organisation but I want to restrict the data that is transmitted only for staff members of the branch in question.

There is a branch table which contains the branch number.

Is this possible?
