Sales Rep Re-Allocation via What If Scenario Modelling

Hi,

Currently I am in a project where I’ve been tasked to do following.
Based on Sales Force Data extract, we need to assess below

  • Sales Reps performance grouped by Franchise.
  • Assess Market Revenue based on Competitors data(Flat File other source)
  • Pull total costs which includes Rep Compensation, Commission, Other Costs etc.,
  • Re-align Sales Reps to appropriate Franchise to grab more revenue - identify & utilize opportunity that’s in Market.

Basically we have all data coming from various sources.

We ended up getting good results with Solver Add-In or spinning What If logic in Excel

So my ask is if we have all data elements required above, can we achieve this in Power BI without relying on Excel(Solver) using Scenario Modelling.

Anyone did such project or similar one please share your two cents/suggestions it will help a lot in direction.

Please guide or help with your suggestions or insights around this area.

Thanks
Archer
