Query Parameters

I was just looking at the Query Parameter Example video and it raised a question on possible uses.
Can a Query Parameter be created and then be used as a slicer to allow an end user to pick what was defined and filter the report on the fly?
Or is it best to create a few Query Parameters and apply them to different pages of a final report?

Yes it can be used somewhat like a slicer but it doesn’t happen within the page.

Thanx Sam - that helps a lot. I have a better understanding now and can see some real uses in my data.
