If statement to change a calculation

I have a few dax calculations to give me attrition %, however, when I’m looking at them by the job the results are off. I need an if statement that looks to see if the job had any new hires in that time period. If blank change the calculation to (start of the month - terminations) if not blank (Start of the month HC - terminations + new hires)/2

Shouldn’t be too difficult here but it’s hard to say the exact formula you need without seeing images of what you are looking at.

The best thing to show is a table with the current result you have and also the context of the calculation.

Really as many images of you think would be needed to solve this exactly.
