Hi Power BI Members,

Is it possible to create dashboard level filters.

I have a workspace with two reports one for sales and one finance. Bothe from different data sets.
They share common lookup tables but we didn’t want to have a complex model.

Is there way I can create dashboard level filters so that the both sales and finance report visuals get filtered on selection.

Swapnil,

I believe that this can be accomplished by using row level security. This will filter each user to their own data.

I don’t believe you can create filters that work over multiple reports. Everything needs to be in the same report.

The only other way to do this is with row level security being setup in both reports exactly the same.
